Letter: Investing in Africa
Sir: I wish to point out to the Reverend Stuart J Burgess of York (letter, 14 September) that Africa today lacks a conducive climate for foreign investment. Most African countries today have a very poor infrastructure, unreliable water supplies and poor communications. With poor road networks and unreliable power supplies, it is difficult for an investor to take Africa as an ideal choice.
