Sir: When everything in our society is subject to rampant secularism it is churlish of the National Secular Society to complain of a few bishops having a voice in Parliament. I would rather entrust our legislation to a holy man like the late lamented Cardinal Hume than to the solemnly petulant Mr Porteous Wood.
