Letter: Nato's war on TV
Sir: When you repeat a lie often enough, it may seem to be, but never will be, the truth.
Britain's Ministry of Defence spokesman repeated the old lie that the Yugoslav people are informed on the war courtesy only of Yugoslav TV.
I can confirm to you that we watch much more BBC, Sky News and CNN than we do Yugoslav TV.
On the other hand, the British public is informed only by Western media organisations, which are heavily dependent on Nato and KLA sources.
It is deplorable enough that you are destroying civilian infrastructure and killing hundreds of civilians, but to claim that you are doing it to educate the Yugoslav people is incredibly evil.
