Letter: Off the map

Sir: Three events last week led me to Liverpool Street station. The Queen's Speech heralding the Transport Bill and the opening of the Jubilee Line coincided with my moving into London with my boat to stay until after the millennium. Obviously I will be using public transport, so I decided to obtain an integrated rail plan of London. The enquiry assistant asked if I wanted the plan that showed the railway and London Transport systems together. Why was I not surprised when he informed me that they had stopped producing that map?
