Letter: On yer bike
Sir: This morning, I cycled the 11 miles from home to work. I encountered at least half a dozen pedestrians who seemed to think cycle lanes were for walking on and the usual jaywalkers who believe traffic lights don't apply to them. Not to mention the 30-tonne truck parked across a cycle lane.
Have any readers been involved in an accident on a cycle lane or road, caused by pedestrians, who, of course, are not insured?
