letter: Rail Names

Sir: Fredrik Procope writes regarding station names and their readability (letter, 24 May): " ... at 100mph one could be in Blackpool or Bodmin". I sincerely hope he never finds himself at that speed in either station. If he does, may I suggest that he wears a crash helmet and swimming trunks? Trains normally stop at termini and he is likely to find himself either in the Irish Sea or the river Camel.
