Letter: Tory troubles
Sir: As one of the Conservative Party's 14 candidates fighting a London Assembly seat next May, I and met Shaun Woodward at Central Office on 30 November. He was particularly hostile to Labour's plans for the Tube.
Now that he has defected to labour, how many other Labour policies will there be with which he finds himself in disagreement?
Turncoats are rightly reviled by both sides - by the party they have left for their disloyalty and by the party they join for the fear of it.
