Canadian rapper Drake is set to launch a US tour that will run from September through November, according to a July 29 announcement. "Light Dreams and Nightmares" follows fresh on the heels of the breakout hip-hop artist's previous tour "Away From Home," which ran through July 27.
Eleven dates have been announced for the upcoming tour, which begins on September 21 in Miami, then moves on to cities including New York, Washington DC, and Chicago, and finishes up on November 4 in Los Angeles. Virginia hip-hop duo Clipse will be the supporting act throughout the tour.

October 19 - Detroit, MI - Fox Theatre Detroit
October 21 - Wallingford, CT - Toyota Presents the Oakdale Theatre
November 2 - Denver, CO - Wells Fargo Theatre
November 4 - Universal City, CA - Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk
Following the new round of shows, Drake is due to perform a last round of rescheduled dates in Europe as part of the "Away From Home" tour.
Drake will tour in support of his debut album Thank Me Later, which MTV News called "the most buzzed-about hip-hop debut since Biggie Smalls dropped Ready To Die." Thank Me Later hit number one in the US and Canada and went platinum in both countries, also hitting number one on the UK R&B chart.
