The Leisure Society's new album Alone Aboard The Ark is out on 1 April.
It was recorded at the North London Konk Studios of Kinks frontman Ray Davies- a long-time Leisure Society fan who also featured the band as part of his curation of last year's Meltdown Festival on the South Bank.
The album is informed variously by the suicide of Sylvia Plath (the haunting "The Sober Scent of Paper") and the London Olympics (see lead single "Fight For Everyone"), and was recorded on 2" tape and Konk's 70s mixing desk.
