Engelbert Humperdinck will be flying the flag for the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan, 40 years after last having a top-40 single, leaving everyone questioning whether he can fill some of the giant shoes laid out by the competition's forefathers.

The 75-year-old certainly has experience on his side, and is famous for having kept The Beatles off the number one spot in 1967, but when it comes to Eurovision, will he follow in the footsteps of Sandie Shaw and Bucks Fizz, or will he fall better alongside Scooch and Daz Sampson?
