Guns n' Roses, Arcade Fire, and Blink-182 will headline the 2010 Reading and Leeds festivals, scheduled for August 27-29, according to a March 29 announcement. Also in the lineup are The Libertines, set to perform together for the first time in six years, as well as Weezer, Paramore, Modest Mouse, Queens of the Stone Age, LCD Soundsystem, and Phoenix.

Guns n' Roses will headline the Reading Festival on August 27 and the Leeds Festival on August 29, while Arcade Fire will will headline the opening day at Leeds and the second night at Reading. Blink-182 will play second night of Leeds and the final night of Reading. Other bands, including Weezer, Paramore, Cypress Hill, Limp Bizkit, and All Time Low, will make one appearance each at the two festivals.

The Libertines released two albums, 2002's Up the Bracket and 2004's The Libertines, before breaking up in 2004 due to disagreements between guitarist Pete Doherty and co-frontman Carl Barat. Last May, three of four group members performed together during a concert by Doherty's band Babyshambles, suggesting that a reunion might be near.

Tickets are now on sale for both festivals, which take place simultaneously in the two UK cities and feature the same lineup. The capacity is about 80,000 at the Reading site and about 70,000 at Leeds.

More lineup announcements are expected soon. For more information, including a list of online ticket outlets, visit or
