Rap superstars Jay-Z and Eminem have added two dates to their short but historic "Home and Home" tour, according to a June 24 press release. Tickets for the four shows, which will take place in September in the artists' hometowns of Detroit and New York City, go on sale June 25 at 10:00 ET.

The rappers will perform a pair of headlining concerts together in Detroit's Comerica Park stadium on September 2 and 3, and on September 13 and 14 they will share the stage at New York's Yankee Stadium.

"This is a once in a lifetime set of shows and I know we're both really going to bring it to our home towns," said Eminem when the first two shows were announced in May.

"I've always hoped that hip-hop could play any stadium like other genres of music," said Jay-Z. "Fun and historic, a great combination all around the board."

Home and Home tour dates:

September 2: Detroit, MI - Comerica Park
September 3: Detroit, MI - Comerica Park
September 13: New York, NY - Yankee Stadium
September 14: New York, NY - Yankee Stadium

While these are the only joint live performances planned for Jay-Z and Eminem, the collaboration is not the first: Eminem was featured on Jay-Z's "Renegade" from 2001 album Blueprint, also producing portions of that track and "Moments of Clarity" from subsequent release The Black Album. The two have also collaborated on several mash-ups, including a mix of Jay's "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" and Eminem's "My Name Is" for 2009 video game DJ Hero.
