Rapper Kanye West continues to dominate as the most popular artist in the blogosphere according to The Hype Machine on Monday, September 27. Indie acts Twin Sister and Belle and Sebastian also move up the ranks, while British Sea Power and Anoraak debut in the top ten.

Indie Brit band British Sea Power last recorded an album in 2009, and it was a mostly instrumental soundtrack for the Irish documentary Man of Aran. This week, the band has entered the blogosphere after releasing the title track from its brand-new EP, Zeus E.P., featuring seven tracks that will be released digitally October 5 via Rough Trade. "From the sound of it, [they] are ready to climb down from atop Mt. Olympus and start rockin again," reviews Consequence of Sound (consequenceofsound.net).

French electro producer Frederic Riviere, otherwise known as Anoraak, recently teamed up with Swedish vocalist Sally Shapiro on a new release, "Don't Be Afraid," from his new disc, Wherever The Sun Sets, available on iTunes now and in stores October 26. Bloggers are circulating an alternative version of the new single, not featured on the disc. "It has more guitars but is still just as reined in by Shapiro's ice lovestruck voices," reviews The Culture of Me (thecultureofme.com). Music blogger MuuMuse (www.muumuse.com) writes, "The track shimmers with Shapiro's icy, wafer-thin delivery, complemented and made all the better by Anoraak's sun-soaked, '80's-inspired synth production."
