Rapper powerhouse Kanye West remains the most popular act in the blogs according to The Hype Machine on September 29. Indie DJ act Duck Sauce climbs its way into second place while Deerhunter, Sufjan Stevens, and Glasser rejoin the top ten.

Duck Sauce is a collaboration between DJs Armand Van Helden and A-Trak with a mission to create disco house tunes for club DJs. The duo released a track titled "Barbara Streisand" that is getting heavy DJ and radio support in parts of Europe, and they recently dropped a new music video for the tune featuring Kanye West, Pharrell, Questlove, and others. "This music video is ruling, no gimmicky special effects or weird concept, just an amazingly done New York City Party vibe put to film with ton upon ton of cameos," writes Mad Decent (maddecent.com).

Glasser, the solo project of singer Cameron Mesirow, is back in the blogs after the September 28 release of her debut full-length album, Ring. "The music of Glasser (to my Lightning Bolt shattered ears at least) seems destined to sell iPods," reviews music blogger Pop Tarts Suck Toasted (ptst.org). "Her voice is striking, playing to the rafters melodically but never in a way that seems histrionic or schmaltzy."
