Most blogged artists: Lykke Li, MGMT, Sex Beet

Swedish pop singer Lykke Li holds steady as the most popular act in the blogosphere on October 29, according to The Hype Machine. Canadian electronic duo Crystal Castles and US rapper Kanye West take the second and third positions. Also in the day's top ten: MGMT and Sex Beet.
Brookyn-based MGMT - Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden - is a hot topic in blogs after London-based electro DJ Erol Alkan remixed the title track from the group's 2010 album Congratulations. "Alkan, true to form, keeps kids dancing with his clunky bass-friendly, dirty disco rework," blogs Dots and Dashes (dotsanddashes.co.uk).
A new face in the top ten is London-based lo-fi rockers Sex Beet. The band, currently touring the UK as the opening act for Wavves and Best Coast, just released a new single titled "Sugar Water." JP's Blog (jpsblog.net) reviews the new track: "The three-piece, unlike most of the garage/lo-fi bands out there, feature an organist, which really adds more to the sound."
