American noise pop duo Sleigh Bells remains in the top spot as the music blogosphere's hottest act, according to The Hype Machine on January 27. Australian electronic act Cut Copy and Swedish pop singer Lykke Li round out the top three. Also in the day's top ten, American musician John Vanderslice moves into ninth place.

Lykke Li returns to the blogs as music fans are swapping a remix by TV on the Radio band member and record producer Dave Sitek of her track "I Follow Rivers." "The horns he adds are all too signature," writes We All Want Someone to Shout For (weallwantsomeone.org). "It's all kinds of cool."

Vanderslice also rejoins the top ten with the release of his latest CD, White Wilderness, featuring a cover of Atlas Sound's "Walkabout" that is receiving rave reviews. "Where the original is all spacey electro-jam, Vanderslice unearths a lighthearted folk-pop core," writes blogger Cover Me (www.covermesongs.com).
