Brooklyn synth pop duo Holy Ghost! is hot in the blogs on May 16 with the release of the single "Wait & See" for free and a new video featuring the artists' fathers. Also on The Hype Machine's "most blogged artists" chart is American producer-turned-singer Mayer Hawthorne, who claims the number one spot in the day's top ten.

For their latest release, Wait & See, Holy Ghost! included a slew of remixes of their "absurdly catchy new single 'Wait & See''' (www.umstrum.com) by such artists as Moby, Flight Facilities, and Kris Menance. The duo, Alex Frankel and Nick Milhiser, recently dropped the Flight Facilities' version as a free download. "My advice to anyone who wants to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest music trends of 2011 is to jump immediately on the Holy Ghost! bandwagon," advises blog Circle Square Triangle (circlesquaretriangle.tv).

Swedish pop duo jj reenters the blog chart after releasing a new single called "No One Can Touch Us Tonight." The track is available as a free download, and in "the most outrageous record release imaginable" (www.parttimemusic.com), ten physical copies are being sold for €100 featuring handmade covers designed by the duo and artist Malin Bernalt.
