Living and working in London, HK 119 (Finnish born Heidi Kilpeläinen) creates spectacular music and accompanying music videos in a do-it-yourself spirit, where she is responsible for all the planning herself from costumes and choreography, lyrics, music and performance.
This electronica-tinged musician is no average pop singer, but her pop is as equally accessible, drawing comparisons to Goldfrapp and Bjork.
‘Mind’ is off her sophomore album for One Little Indian, entitled ‘Fast, Cheap and out of Control,’ out on September 29th.
