Shelleyan Orphan
Folk-pop duo Shelleyan Orphan achieved minor cult status in the late-80s and early 90's.
Taking their name from a Bryce-Shelley poem, Caroline Crawley and Jemaur Tayle produced all three albums, releasing them on Rough Trade. All of them were eclectic, original romps, creating a sound that was unlike most groups of the time.
Now fifteen years later, Shelleyan Orphan is back with their first new album since 1993. Entitled We Have Everything We Need, it is classic Shelleyan Orphan, unique as ever and resoundingly relevant.
It is set for release in October on One Little Indian. ‘Something Pulled Me’ is a lead-off track from the album.
