Legendary Lou Reed teams up with Scottish singer Susan Boyle in the clip for her rendition of his signature tune "Perfect Day." Also, Pink gets feisty, Miley Cyrus gets sexy, and a disgruntled MC Hammer tries to get even with Jay-Z.
Pink: "Raise Your Glass"
US recording artist Pink dresses as Rosie the Riveter and toasts the underdogs in her new video. "Raise Your Glass" is the lead single from her upcoming hits compilation, Greatest Hits... So Far!
MC Hammer: "Better Run Run"
US recording artist MC Hammer, who is now dubbed King Hammer, dropped his new clip for "Better Run Run" as an official "diss" to rapper Jay-Z, who referenced Hammer's bankruptcy on Kanye West's "So Appalled" track. The video features a Jay-Z doppelganger being chased through the woods by a creepy man.
Kid Rock: "Born Free"
American singer-songwriter and rapper Kid Rock captures wide open spaces in his new video for "Born Free," the title track from his upcoming eighth studio album, set to release November 16.
Rock Mafia: "The Big Bang featuring Miley Cyrus"
US pop star Miley Cyrus turns up the teen romance alongside Canadian actor costar Kevin Zegers in the new clip produced by US band Rock Mafia.
N*E*R*D: "Hypnotize U"
US hip-hop band N*E*R*D debuted a new clip for "Hypnotize U," a track produced by electronic music duo Daft Punk. The video features a gaggle of sexy women in their underwear while lead vocalist Pharrell Williams takes a shower.
Susan Boyle: "Perfect Day"
Former Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed has not only allowed singing sensation Susan Boyle to cover his classic track, but he also directed the video. Shot in Loch Lomond, Scotland, the clip is Boyle's first music video.
Far East Movement: "Rocketeer featuring Ryan Tedder"
L.A. band Far East Movement recently dropped a sentimental new clip for the mid-tempo jam "Rocketeer" aided by OneRepublic vocalist Ryan Tedder. The clip features a young American man who builds a makeshift rocket to see his girlfriend in Tokyo.
Annie Lennox: "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"
In advance of the release of her new album, A Christmas Cornucopia, famed Scottish recording artist Annie Lennox has filmed a new clip for her rendition of the Christmas classic "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen."
Seattle indie band Seapony dropped a new clip for "Dreaming," set to be released November 15 as a 7-inch vinyl.
Disco Biscuits: "Fish Out of Water"
US electronic jam band produced a new clip, directed by Noah Rappaport, for their dreamy track "Fish Out of Water." The third part of a video series, the clip features a robot named Stanley hoping to settle down with his girlfriend.
Kandi: "Leave U"
American R&B singer-songwriter Kandi produced a new video for the track "Leave U," from her second studio album Kandi Koated, releasing December 14.
