Fans who have waited more than ten years for the Culture Club to tour will have to wait a little longer because Boy George has developed a serious throat condition.
The singer has been told by doctors not to perform so the re-formed Culture Club are pulling out of their US and UK tour which was set to kick off on Saturday in California.
The band were due to play 10 shows in America before starting an 11-date UK arena tour in Glasgow on 1 December.
The “Karma Chameleon” performer may need an operation to remove a polyp in his throat.
"The throat specialist has ordered George to not sing as it may necessitate an operation," a statement from the band said.

George said he was devastated, adding: "I want to be able to perform to the best of my ability and the specialist has told me that right now that will be impossible.
"I will focus on getting better and see all my fans soon.”
It would have been the first tour since 2002 to feature George, bassist Mikey Craig, guitarist and keyboardist Roy Hay and drummer Jon Moss.
