February best-selling albums on Amazon (UK, US, DE, FR)

Sade's
Soldier of Love was among top-selling albums across four Amazon sites during the month of February. Among other albums that appeared on multiple Amazon bestseller charts were Massive Attack's
Heligoland and Peter Gabriel's
Scratch My Back (which has not yet been released in the US).

In the UK, February's top-selling album was Lungs by indie band Florence and The Machine. Other top albums included Sunny Side Up by Scottish singer/songwriter Paolo Nutini and American R&B singer Alicia Keys's The Element of Freedom. Also making the Amazon chart were Soldier of Love, Heligoland, Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, and Sigh No More by English folk band Mumford & Sons.

Other hit CDs included posthumously released albums by Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix, the soundtrack from the film Crazy Heart, and a 2-CD set by Canadian singer/songwriter k.d. lang.

In second place was German rock/pop musician Peter Maffay with his album Tattoos, followed by Bravo Hits 68, the latest in a series of greatest hits compilations.
