Glastonbury Festival 2017 tickets sold out within an hour, leaving hundreds of potential punters unhappy, distressed, and aggravated after being unable to obtain a ticket.

As always, the SeeTickets website struggled with the huge demand, many people unable to get past the loading page.

Tweeters vented their anger at the situation, many sharing the same gif in which someone wearing a Panda outfit smashes a computer. Another popular, widely spread meme featured a monkey tapping a mouse, like how thousands tapped away at their refresh buttons.

Of course, it wasn’t all completely horrible news; some people did actually manage to get tickets somehow. However, in an attempt to not show off and incite anger from the unlucky majority, many kept their celebrations subdued.

For those who didn’t get tickets, there is a resale taking place in Spring next year. There are also other ways of getting into the festival, such as volunteering with Oxfam.

Glastonbury Festival 2017 take place next year, with the likes of Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, and the Stone Roses rumoured to be headlining.
