It’s rare that a Grammys should pass without major incident, but that’s exactly what happened on Monday night. Music was left to take the limelight, as it rightly should, despite our not-so-secret longings for something bizarre, controversial or just plain ridiculous to happen.

From Kendrick Lamar’s political showstopper to Justin Bieber’s banging rendition of “Where Are U Now”, there were some top-notch performances. If you were too busy snoozing while these artists took to the stage, here’s a handy rundown of what you missed:

“The Blacker the Berry” and “Alright” - Kendrick Lamar

Lady Gaga’s David Bowie Tribute

“Love Yourself” and “Where Are U Now” - Justin Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo

“Out of the Woods” - Taylor Swift

Lionel Richie Tribute

Jazz prodigy Joey Alexander on the piano

“Alexander Hamilton” - Hamilton

“All I Ask” - Adele

“In The Night” and “Can’t Feel My Face” - The Weeknd

“As Bad As I Am” and “Ace of Spades” - Hollywood Vampires

“Hollow” and “Let It Go” - Tori Kelly and James Bay

“Take Your Time” and “Heartbeat” - Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood

“Take It Easy” - Don Henley, Jackson Browne and Joe Walsh

“She’s Out of My Life” - Miguel

“You Are” - Meghan Trainor

“El Taxi” and “Bad Man” - Pitbull, Travis Barker, Joe Perry and Robin Thicke

“That’s The Way of the World” - Stevie Wonder and Pentatonix

“Rise Up” and “Love Me Like You Do” - Andra Day and Ellie Goulding

“Don’t Wanna Fight” - Alabama Shakes

“The Thrill is Gone” - Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark Jr

So that’s your lot, the Grammys are over for another year. Next stop, the Oscars on Sunday 28 February.
