'Hope for Haiti' to feature Bono, Sting, Alicia Keys
"Hope for Haiti," a telethon benefit for victims of the earthquake in Haiti hosted by actor George Clooney and musician Wyclef Jean, will feature performances by Bono, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Alicia Keys. The telethon will be broadcast on January 22, and will air internationally on MTV -- which is organizing the event -- as well as CNN and National Geographic channels.

The telethon will be broadcast on January 22, and will air internationally on MTV - which is organizing the event - as well as CNN and National Geographic channels.
The two-hour event will begin at 8:00pm EST. According to Clooney, more than 40 celebrities are expected to attend.
Additionally, MP3s of some of the night's performances will be available worldwide via iTunes following the event. Money raised at the event at from MP3 sales will go towards Wyclef Jean's Yéle Haiti Foundation, the Red Cross, UNICEF, Oxfam America, and Partners in Health.
