Apple has announced its bestselling albums and songs of the year in a new feature on the iTunes Store called iTunes Rewind. Songs by Black-Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga were among chart-toppers in the US and UK, and the Kings of Leon album
Only By the Night was the best-selling album on both the US and UK charts.
Among other top-sellers that made both lists were albums by Michael Jackson and Black-Eyes Peas.
"Right Round" by Flo Rida was the number-two song in the US, not making it onto the UK chart; other songs unique to the US chart are "Gives You Hell" by the All-American Rejects and two singles by Miley Cyrus. Top-sellers in the UK include singles by Cheryl Cole, La Roux, and Lily Allen.
