Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews to headline 2010 Bonnaroo Festival
On February 9, the lineup for the 2010 Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, USA was announced on the festival's website. Scheduled for June 10-13, the festival will feature headliners Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, and Dave Matthews, as well as dozens of other artists.
Among other acts set to perform are The Flaming Lips (presenting their Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon cover album), Weezer, Norah Jones, LCD Soundsystem, The xx, and She & Him. A complete list of artists announced so far can be viewed at the Bonnaroo website.
Tickets for the 2010 festival went on sale February 9 at noon EST. A limited number of general admission tickets are still available at $234.50. After that round sells out, tickets will go for $249.50. Payment plans are available for both general admission tickets and for VIPs, which are $1,349.50 per pair.
The top-grossing festival in North America, the Bonnaroo Festival brings nearly 90,000 people to Great Stage Park, a 700-acre (2.8 sq km) farm in Manchester, Tennessee. In addition to dozens of performances, the festival features a 100-acre "entertainment village" with an arcade, cinema, silent disco, and comedy club.
