Jessie J brings album release forward

Jessie J has brought the release date of her debut album, 'Who You Are', forward.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker announced on twitter this morning (03.02.11) she has received such phenomenal support since her debut single was released last November - winning the BRIT Awards' Critics Choice prize and being named the BBC Sound of 2011 - that her album will come out a month earlier than planned, on February 28.

Addressing her fans as 'Heartbeats', she wrote: "Ready...? So - due to my amazing #heartbeats... Showing so much love and support, Myself islandrecordsuk and RepublicRecords have decided that you deserve the album EARLY!!!! (sic)

"The NEW DATE for #WHOYOUARE my debut album has been brought forward to 28th FEBRUARY!!! That's 4 weeks early! (sic)"

The 22-year-old singer's debut track 'Do It Like A Dude' eventually reached number two in the UK singles charts.

Jessie - born Jessica Cornish - has also announced a UK and Ireland tour in March and April, starting in Glasgow on March 31 and finishing in Belfast on April 9.
