(Taylor Swift)

Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar obsessive, has managed to land the rapper to star in her next music video, in which he will play a character named Welvin Da Great.

Swift tweeted out a poster for the Bad Blood video, which to be honest looks a little like a bad Sin City-meets-Tarantino rip-off and features the cringey tag-line: 'Band-aids don't fix bullet holes'.

She is a huge fan of Lamar's (who isn't), having previously been seen bouncing to Maad City at the Grammys and lip-syncing to Backseat Freestyle on Instagram.

Kendrick has acknowledged her fandom before in an embarrassed sort of way, singing along to Taylor's Shake It Off on the radio.

Swift has secured a crazy amount of A-listers for the video, which will also see Lena Dunham play Lucky Fori, Haeilee Steinfeld play The Trinity, Ellie Goulding play Destructa X and Hayley Williams play The Crimson Curse.

Each actor/actress chose their character's name and persona for the video, which will premiere on Sunday 17 May at the Billboard Music Awards.
