Lady Gaga will bring her Monster Ball tour back to North America following her current European tour dates, announced Live Nation on March 15. The 2010 North American leg of The Monster Ball Tour will begin on June 28 in Montreal and will include shows in 31 arenas through September 19.
The tour's second North American leg will apparently build on the first, which the artist has described as "the first-ever pop-electro opera." In a February interview with KIIS-FM's Ryan Seacrest, Lady Gaga promised of the updated show: "It's still called Monster Ball, but it's more of a musical and less of a concert. It has a New York theme, it's a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we're going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost."
Tickets for some of the new Monster Ball dates - including those in New York, Vancouver, Toronto, San Jose, Los Angeles, and Boston - go on sale March 19 or shortly thereafter at LiveNation.com.
