International pop superstar Lady Gaga has extended her ongoing Monster Ball Tour, announced Live Nation on March 1. Following dates in the UK, Australia, and Japan, the tour will return to Europe for performances from May 7 to June 4, followed by another round of shows in North America.
The newly announced European leg will include visits to Sweden, Germany, the
Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the UK, including performances in Sheffield
and Nottingham that will replace postponed shows originally scheduled for March 7 and 8. New York City glam-rock band Semi Precious Weapons will be the opening act for all European dates.
Also announced March 1, Lady Gaga will head back to North American in June for a 30-city tour. Itinerary and ticket information will be announced soon.

The Monster Ball Tour, which Lady Gaga has described as a "pop-electro opera," began in late November, 2009, and has so far made its way around North America and to the UK.
