MGMT's follow-up to 'Oracular Spectacular' due out April 13

Brooklyn-based indie duo MGMT is due to release its second album in North America on April 13, announced Columbia Records on February 9. The album is the follow-up to 2008's
Oracular Spectacular, which went platinum in the UK and Australian charts and was named best album of 2008 by
NME Magazine.

The tracklist for Congratulations, described as "a collection of nine individual musical tours de force sequenced to flow with sonic and thematic coherence," is as follows:
- "It's Working"
- "Song for Dan Treacy"
- "Someone's Missing"
- "Flash Delirium"
- "I Found a Whistle"
- "Siberian Breaks"
- "Brian Eno"
- "Lady Dada's Nightmare"
- "Congratulations"

MGMT has become a favorite act at international festivals, having appeared at South By Southwest, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo in the US and Glastonbury in the UK. The band is so far confirmed to appear at the 2010 Coachella and Bamboozle festivals.

Congratulations will soon be available for pre-order on the band's website, where a timer is counting down the seconds to the album's release. International release dates are not yet announced.
