On February 4, the Hype Machine records Brooklyn experimental rock band Yeasayer as the most blogged musical act, with an electro-pop remix by Alan Wilkis of the band's song "Ambling Alp" making its way around the blogosphere. French alternative rock band Phoenix and Baltimore indie duo Beach House round out the top three.

Also getting mention is Lo-Fi-Fnk, an electro-pop band from Stockholm, Sweden. Playing since 2001, the duo - Leo Drougge and August Hellsing - has toured around the world and released its first studio album, Boylife, in 2006. A second album is due out in 2010, and a track from that album, called "Marchin' In," plus an accompanying video, were just released online. My Old Kentucky Blog (myoldkyhome.blogspot.com) says the song and video are "full of blissful, Scandinavian dance-pop goodness."

Los Angeles electropop duo Jump Jump Dance Dance has climbed into the top ten with the release of a remix by Grum of the band's single "Show Me the Night," not due out in its original form until February 26. Discodust reviews, "the post-punk flavoured 'synths versus guitars' anthem called 'show me the night' will be out on etcetc. soon. discodust favorite grum delivers a great remix to ensure that both indie and electro-dominated dancefloors are covered." JJDD is set to release a self-titled album in 2010.
