On February 9, Brooklyn experimental rock band Yeasayer continues to be the most talked-about band in the blogosphere, according to The Hype Machine. British electropop band Hot Chip and San Diego post-rock project The Album Leaf round out the top three.
Yeasayer's album Odd Blood was released February 8. San Diego indie band The Soft Pack climbed into the top ten with the release of its sefl-titled album. The band is due to begin a major tour on February 12, beginning with 14 UK shows, followed by several concerts in continental Europe, and then a string of shows in the US.
