Neil Young will be playing a string of UK tour dates next June along with backing band Promise of the Real.

The legendary Canadian rocker will perform one-off shows in Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Leeds and London.

The concerts will see the 70-year-old resume his Rebel Content Tour in Europe after two US legs this year were acclaimed by reviewers and fans.

Young had previously toured with backing band Crazy Horse and will likely play a mixture of old classics and new tracks from latest 36th album The Monsanto Years.

Promise of the Real features Willie Nelson’s sons Lukas and Micah Nelson.

After the UK, the “After The Gold Rush” singer and his band will head to Amsterdam and Germany.
