Fresh from their Children in Need reunion performance, S Club 7 have announced that they will be bringing it all back for a tour next year.
The cheesy Nineties pop group announced details of their 2015 live concerts earlier today, after taking to the stage for a hits medley on Friday night’s charity telethon.
Tickets will go on sale this Thursday 20 November at 9am, with May dates including Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Nottingham, London, Leeds, Glasgow and Sheffield.
All seven original bandmates – Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Jo O’Meara – are reuniting for the tour, which looks set to be a popular sing-a-long affair.
S Club performed classics from “Reach” to “Don’t Stop Movin’” on Children in Need, reminding us that despite all the One Direction mania, there’s still no party quite like an “S Club Party”.
The seven-piece dressed up for the occasion in pre-Noughties leather miniskirts and shiny shirts and their dance moves looked energetic as ever, even if the vocals did suffer somewhat as a result. Nice glittery microphone stands though.
“That was OK, wasn’t it?” host Sir Terry Wogan asked the group, before they took part in a Best Club 7 quiz later on in the evening.
The band have part-reunited several times before - as S Club 3 in 2008 and again for Birmingham Pride as S Club 4 in 2014.
