Never let it be said The Rolling Stones have sold out.

After charging as much as £375 for tickets to their tour last year, the band have now released a series of limited edition coffee table books going for $5,000 (£3,101).

The book’s publisher Taschen announced that each of the 1,150 copies signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts will be sold for $5,000.

The unsigned copies, which are slightly smaller in dimension, are due to sell for $150.

In a statement issued through Taschen, Jagger said the book captures “many magical moments,” while Richards called it a “roller coaster” through the band's 50 year history.

The publisher says its 500-page plus book offers “unprecedented access to the Rolling Stones’ own archives in New York and London and adds an equally extraordinary, more private side to their story.”

The Rolling Stones are currently on tour in Australia, playing dates that were initially rescheduled after Jagger’s partner L'Wren Scott died earlier this year.
