Justin Timberlake and The Killers have been confirmed as this summer’s V Festival headliners, with Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini, Example and Lily Allen supporting them on the bill.
Other acts already announced include English bands Elbow and Bastille, former Swedish House Mafia DJs Axwell and Ingrosso, award-winning quartet Rudimental and electro duo Chase and Status.
Alesso, another Swedish DJ, will also be performing, alongside The Voice judge Ricky Wilson's Kaiser Chiefs, NME's Godlike Genius Blondie, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Manic Street Preachers, John Newman, Rizzle Kicks, Train, Katy B and Tom Odell.
Newton Faulkner, Aloe Blacc, Alex Clare, Foxes and Ella Eyre will also be appearing at the popular music event, with many more acts still to be revealed.
"We're very excited to announce the V Festival line-up and proud to bring headliners Justin Timberlake and The Killers, following on from their sold out Wembley Stadium show in 2013, with both headliners summer festival exclusives,” said directors Bob Angus and Dennis Desmond.
"We have pulled together a line-up of huge depth with a variety of artists across many musical genres and 2014 is set to be another fantastic year in V Festival’s 19-year history."
V Festival is held in two locations, Weston Park in Staffordshire and Hylands Park in Essex, over the 16 August weekend. Last year’s pop extravaganza was topped by Kings of Leon and Beyoncé.
Tickets for V Festival go on sale at 9am on Friday 7 March
