Chilly Gonzales is the alter ego of Berlin-based, Canadian-bred Jason Beck, a buddy of Peaches and Tiga who made a name in the early Noughties as a prankster rapper and, later, a lounge pianist.

Ivory Tower is largely instrumental, a dreamy mix of Ibiza chill-out and 1960s French film soundtrack, although on "I am Europe" his Snagglepuss voice lambasts his adopted continent. Just when you're drifting off into reverie, he'll drop a line like "I hold a grudge like a rapper holds his crotch."
