Album: Enter Shikari, A Flash Flood of Colour (Ambush Reality / Pias)
A Flash Flood of Colour kicks off with a pained metaphor comparing modern Britain to a clifftop house threatened by coastal erosion, and doesn't let up from there.
The third Enter Shikari album is the one in which their festival-friendly rap-rave-metal goes "the-generation-that-are-going-to-change-the-world" political. And if the Rou Reynolds-fronted St Albans band achieve their aim and mobilise their fan base, more power to their electro-rock elbows. As long as I don't have to listen.
