This is the debut UK release for a 1978 live recording, which is Volume 5 in a top, top survey of the King of Motown's solo career.

It's a Quiet Storm-related set featuring a killer band including Marv Taplin, Wah-Wah Watson and James Jamerson, and while the quality wavers a bit, there's plenty of good stuff, including the supremely gooey ballads, "Ooo Baby Baby" and "Baby Come Close", a studio version of "Shoe Soul", and all the big hits.
