The title of this album means, simply, "listen".

These singers have all studied music to university level, and their complex polyphony has a festive, feline delicacy. They sing in Creole, Cuba's second language, and their repertoire reflects the cultural richness of their heritage. The slave trade was only the first impetus for their immigration – the latest was Papa Doc's tyranny in Haiti. They've done tours there after the earthquake, and they tour to Britain. Pending their next visit, listen.
