Club culture and bar culture cosy up even closer with this release, a joint venture between React and trendy London eatery Momo's. Apparently Momo was in music PR before he became a restaurateur and, with his resident DJ Boris, has compiled a fusion of contemporary and traditional Middle-Eastern sounds. If you're new to Arabic music the only familiar names you'll find here are Vienna-based downtempo specialists Dzihan and Kamen, and three long-term explorers of esoterica, Steve Hillage, Natacha Atlas and Jah Wobble, all of whom easily blend in.
