Shakira announces autumn European tour dates

Colombian pop star Shakira is set to tour Europe from November 16 through December 20, according to an announcement posted June 28 on the singer's website. Tickets go on sale beginning July 2 for select European tour dates.
Following recent performances at the World Cup Kick-off Concert and the Glastonbury Festival, Shakira heads to North America for concerts from September 17 through October 29. The European dates pick up shortly thereafter and so far include visits to cities in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK, with more dates expected to be announced.

Shakira continues to tour in support of 2009's She Wolf, her sixth studio album and third in English. The set peaked at No. 15 on the US Billboard chart, reached the top ten in more than a dozen other countries, and has gone platinum in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia.
