IN AN interview with Pat Mitchell from CNN, Fidel Castro (right), the long-serving Cuban President, looks back on the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. During In His Own Words (9pm CNN) he reveals that Russian weapons in Cuba were ready for use and that the USSR would have deployed nuclear force against the US, had President Kennedy ordered an invasion of Cuba. He is bitter at the way President Kruschev marginalised him in the eventual agreement with America. Nor is he too happy with the current state of affairs: "the United States won the Cold War. Of course, it had very good collaborators in the Soviet Union itself." Perhaps the highlight of the "Trouble in the Skies" evening on Sky MovieMax is the commendably daft disaster movie spoof, Airplane II - the Sequel (8.30pm), which stars Lloyd Bridges.
