Pokémon Go trainer finds Poké business card in park, then things get creepy

Pokémon Go has become so ubiquitous that it comes as little surprise when you encounter other players in parks or find bars advertising that they’re Pokéstops.

But things took a slightly sinister turn for one trainer out looking for a Scyther in the grass this week.

Phone in hand, they came across this at a tree stump:

What a nicely made business card, maybe it belongs to a particularly dedicated trainer? Hell, you can even hire people to search for Pokémon for you while you’re busy now, maybe they're soliciting?

But no, this was on the reverse…

It’s interesting and slightly apt that this Christian saw Pokémon Go as a threat, given attendance at Gyms is probably better than at churches right now.

The world continue's to be gripped by Pokémon Go fever this week, though shares in Nintendo have fallen after everyone realised it doesn't really own the Pokémon brand.
