The Beatles classic `Sergeant Pepper' has been translated into Latin, it was announced this week. A New York languages student, Benjamin Joffe, translated the lyrics as an academic exercise.

Roccus commencit ipse bona

Elvis Presleum et Minimus Ricardis

Awopbop alubopawop bambuum

Latus fiftis cum Nil Sedaka, Fabiani

Et plethora radio saccharinus extant.

In sixtis, amore et pax regina, maan

Beatlis, Stonus, Kinkus et Dylanae

Guitarem jangli, vox nasali harmonia

Dua didi didedum didedu. Explodus

Liber amore et maximus narcotica

Culminati in Wudstocci et detritus

In seventis, Baeciti Rollerum puerilus

Bi Bi Baebi et cetera, Papere Laceae

Abba et Boni Tylus dominatum

Chartum suprema faeces est

Omnia triste et desperandum. Sodit

Ledus Zeplinis, Genesis, Supertrampi

Et roccus progressivum. Pompus ars

Guitaris solo "widdli-widdli" notorius

Et bankus keybordii unneccessarii.

Membere fragmenti "amicabilius" et

Plurum solo-projectem interminabilis

Status Quo demonstratum unum riffae

Et tres chordi per duratum totalis

XXX annus veritas popula francis rossi

Et tedium excruciatum. Exempli gratia:

Doun Doun Delum Doun ad nauseam

Vulgaris Sex Pistolus victorius latum

Cum Anarchis in Britannica VIIVII

Gloria in pluribus sputum et disputum

Ad EMI, A&M et Virginae bolloxae

Managerus scarperum cum wedgeae

Et Sid Viscuus est mort. Finitas.

Aetes stadium roccus plus tedius

Novus Romanticus et Madonnica

Acidii, Balearicus Beatem ad nintis.

Sortedis per Es et Whizz mateii

Britpopulis, oasis et natali imbruglia

Millennium dome inglorius anthemus

Roccus est mort aut est veri sic

Et Sony dominate mundi eternum.
