No comedian who goes by the name of Boothby Graffoe is going to be run-of-the-mill. At 6ft 4ins with closely cropped hair, Graffoe stands out from the crowd. An expansive one-off, he wins audiences over through the sheer force of his personality. He is on an impressive bill alongside Ian Stone, Paul Zenon, Simon Bligh, Sean Meo, Ricky Grover at the FU2K - The Millennium show at the Comedy Store on New Year's Eve. It might well be fun to see in the new millennium in the company of these comedians, who are promising new material specific to the occasion. It will cost you pounds 100, but that price includes commemorative tickets, signed posters, three free drinks and dancing till dawn.

The Comedy Store, London SW1 (0171-344 0234) Fri 31 Dec
