The Princess Royal, Patron, Amateur Jockeys Association of Great Britain, attends the final of the Bollinger Champagne Series at Ascot Racecourse, Ascot, Berkshire; as, Patron, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, attends a Charity Race Day at Ascot Racecourse; as, President, Rural Housing Trust, opens a village housing scheme at Aldworth, Berkshire; and visits the Downs School, Compton, Berkshire. Princess Margaret attends a Gala Concert at St James's Palace in aid of the New Stables Theatre Appeal.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
