Bath have enjoyed a fairly comprehensive dominance of domestic rugby union over the last few years, but with three games to play in the Courage League they are joined in a three-way struggle with Leicester and Wasps, and this could be the season when the West Country juggernaut is brought to a halt. Wasps are in a position to do it, though victories for each of the leading two last week left them in third place. Given that Leicester and Bath will be locked in a four-pointer tomorrow, victory for Wasps over Bristol in what could be an explosive encounter at Repton Avenue would leave them handily placed to nip in for the title. With the likes of Rob Andrew (below), the wing Phil Hopley and their inspirational skipper Dean Ryan, they are likely to prove too powerful and well-equipped for Bristol.
